Wow!  Busy weekend!

Let's start with the great news!!  I left a message with the RE's office on Thursday regarding when I had planned to start my medicated/IUI cycle.  (I planned it in my head, but needed the permission from the doc!)  I got a call back at work on Friday and the super nice nurse said that Dr. Burwinkle (yes, I giggle every time I say his name!) is "a-ok" with me starting next cycle!! I'm so excited!  Let's get this show on the road! :)

Friday night was fun.  Mike & I drove down to my parents house to watch the football game.  The football field is in their backyard (for the most part) so we can all just relax by the fire and watch the game!  It was a lot of fun...even though we lost big time! ;)  I love friday night football games!  Am I the only one who misses those things?  I miss marching in the band... stadium lights...etc etc!  (Okay, no need to get sentimental!)  Here are some pics of my silly nieces and then the game - sorry the pics are dark!

Saturday was my little sister's Junior Homecoming and let me just say - it was a pretty intense day! haha!  She went to get her hair done and if I'm being honest, it did turn out like Frankenstein's Bride...all we needed was a gray streak in her hair! OMG!  So, she had a moment of pure panic and then we tried to gather ourselves!  There were absolutely no open salons in the entire town (and surrounding!) so we ended up at Fiesta!  It was another horrible experience!  We finally decided that Sara & I could just do it better!  Hannah wanted something simple and sheek so we went back to my parents and tried to comb through her rat nest!  I think, compared to what it was before, it turned out great!  Maybe it wasn't salon quality, but it was at least normal!  Here are some pics of my little sister who is growing up way too fast! *tear*

One last photo - I think I forgot to put this on here before... I absolutely LOVE this picture of my two pups!  Sadly Molly is gone, but I love this picture because it puts them together - like sisters! =)



Well, there was a lot more to my weekend which included spending lots of money but I need to get to bed!  Let's just say that my living room needs a little re-decorating and my older sister is a great interior designer...  That makes me one lucky lady!  It was like having a personal shopper for the day!  Too bad I wasn't spending her money! lol

Back to work tomorrow... ugh.
